	Good and ethical Internet marketing is for example Google Adwords, Yahoo Direcory and even ethical search engine marketing (ensuring that your relevant content displays in natural search results). Evil and rude Internet Marketing is all forms of unsolicited marketing including email marketing (Email is a communications tool and NOT a marketing tool, yes email can be used for marketing and yes you can use a gun for armed robbery or to protect yourself, it still does not make it right. DO NOT SPAM.) At the end of the day Internet Marketing is all forms of marketing on the Internet and whether it is product, brand, sales, website, domain or web page based it makes no difference. Viral Internet Marketing has become quite a buzzword among the marketing people as social network marketing as a buzzword is now becoming worn down. Also the whole web2 web3 and goodness knows what web version is also becoming old and people are inventing new marketing buzz as they go. Bottom line is that viral marketing is when people distribute your marketing for you among themselves, either a hit video clip or a special deal on trading in your motor vehicle, once it has a certain spin, buzz or has a weird, sexual, news or humorous angle and the populace send it (or links to it) to their friends, it goes viral. Nothing new, viral marketing has been happening forever. When the market has a special on washed potatoes you just have to tell your neighbor. Difference is that on the Internet you could be telling a person in China and in Brazil ans at the same time a million others. So you may not even be geared to gain from a true successful viral campaign, unless your name is 'insert top international brand name here'. There are of course targeted viral campaigns that target certain demographics like age, race, gender and even geo based.
