What was the question?
Lots and lots of hype around
twitter.com
at the moment, I wonder if they are preparing to sell the social networking site off to anyone we know?
Well, twitter is a lot smaller than any of the other major social networking sites and is basically a social version of an RSS feed, the application could be usefull as a direct reference site, but as soon as it is overrun by spam (as it is curently) then it will lose value fast.
I have never been a personal fan of microblogging and as such have not found great use of the tweeting love, twitter has also been around for ages and is fairly well known but somehow never managed to gain that critical mass needed to establish a firm foothold on the vertical sections of cyberspace that it could rule...
So, in short, the jury is still out (and have been deliberating for a loooong time)
Tips for twitter? Make your searches reflect real time data, cater more exclusively for the verticals that twitter can rule and target demographics that are active in those verticals...
